[Antennas] Two more questions on rotor control boxes

Still rummaging through estate purchase...
First question:
I now found a rotor control box
Says CDE on front, beige lower metal cabinet half
Black metal upper cabinet half.
No labels on back. Round on/off switch.
So which rotors will this power.
I tested it with a CD-45 & Ham IV and it worked properly but has loud hum while
operating.
Second Question:
Also have a DCU-1. Unit tested with both Ham IV and a T2X.
But...just as rotor reaches the desired rotation, it sounds like it stutters.
Just a short 4 or 5 stutters before stopping.
Sort of like it's slowing down.
After the proper amount of time the brake engages.
This same stuttering happens with both rotators but not with the normal control box.
This was with a short testing cable of 10 feet, with proper heavy gauge on pins 1 & 2.
Other wise the DCU-1 works perfectly.
As always, please and thank you.
Please and thank you.
