[Antennas] Vertical

Hello Sean,
On 160 meters I used a "zepp" antenna, end fed long wire at 90 feet about
225 feet long. I put up an inverted L antenna about 70 feet vertical and 70
feet horizontal with 15 radials of varying lengths (40 feet to 130 feet).
The inverted L consistently worked better than the horizontal antenna on 80
meters and 160 meters. I had both antennas up at the same time and used an
antenna switch to compare them.

Now, for those who may have gone from a 25 foot dipole to a vertical, does
it REALLY help with getting more DX or is it more theoretical.
