[Antennas] elevated verticals

Another issue to keep in mind with verticals made of tubing......
We get a lot of high winds around here......several times a year we get winds of 50MPH with
higher gusts.
This causes a lot of whipping action on vertical antennas, causing screws to work loose and
clamps used to joint the sections to fail. Have also seen stress failures of the tubing.
The higher/taller your vertical, the more often you want to inspect for problems.
Have an antenna 60 feet up in a tree. Needs replaced every 5 years due to these problems.
In fact, half the antenna is gone right now...telescoped into the lower half.
