That was entirely my fault. 99% of my activities on reflectors is on one in
which the owner and operator has set the configuration such that use of the
"reply" button goes to everyone. Unfortunately for me, MOST reflectors do it the
other way around, so I often end up responding only to the original post when I
intended to post to the group. Sorry about that.
My response to Paul was as follows:
Any leaves or branches that touch an antenna - especially at its high impedance
areas - will seriously degrade the antenna. Your problem will be in actually
seeing the effect, because most antennas when compromised or degraded do not
show it markedly - unless it's a highly directional, high gain beam.
