[Antennas] Trap Question

Let's jump start your thoughts on the subject.
If the parallel LC trap is of infinite Q, and
therefore presents infinite impedance at its
resonance frequency, how is there a voltage
developed across it if technically only one
end of it is connected to anything? On the
other hand a quarter wave stub used as a
high impedance trap is tuned to the operating
frequency. Quarter wave stubs and LC traps
don't act the same. Wisdom is when you get
a glimpse of why. You're asking some very
good well thought out questions.
