I have a rotor that is rated at nominal 160-190 inch pounds (min 125
inch pounds) of torque. I want to mount an antenna on it that is rated
at 0.4 Sq Meters. with a weight of only 5.5 Kg The boom diameter is 10
meters. The boom is symetrical so there should be little torque if the
wind is steady from one direction. I dont know how to convert one spec
to the other. Can anyone tell me if the rotor will handle the antenna??
I assume the .4 sq meters is what I need to determine the support
strength, the wright is needed to determine the torque needed in the
rotor, and the boom length also would relate to the torque of the rotor.
Any help would be appreciated!!
