[Antennas] B&W AC 1.8-30 vs BWD terminated antennas?

Jay, as you should be aware, the B&W gets their "flat" response since there is a resistor (aka ... Lossy) at the feed point. A parallel dipole as Tom mentions is the best way to get there. It is also called a Fan Dipole. You can make any number of elements off the feed point and it will work just fine.
I have also heard that the T2FD types are ... not worth a lot. Never used one, no desire. Have fan dipoles in use now and one in particular, was made in 1969 out of Copperweld and to this day, functions great.
