[Antennas] TOWER MAINTENANCE

I have a 30 year old Rohn tower. I got it for free if I took it down
myself, which I did. The top sections were pretty weathered with some rust
visible. Before I put it up again, I wire-brushed the whole thing (it's
only 40 feet), and painted it with Rustoleum. Now it's time to knock off
the rust again, but I'm looking for "the right way" to do this. Should I
get out the wire brush again? This time I'll have to knock of the paint and
the rust. Or should I use paint stripper first? How about sandblasting?
Or using Naval Jelly, or Rust Neutralizer (polymerizes the rust). Any
suggestions for the top coat? Rustoleum? Epoxy paint? I welcome all
suggestions, and I suspect I'm not the only one interested in your
experiences.
Tnx es 73,
