[Antennas] need suggestions on inverted L

1. Lengthen it to 1/4 wave on 160...ie 135 ft or so. Pull the extra wire 
horizontal if you have to from the current end of the antenna. See how it works 
with your grounding system.
2. At the last qth ( tower permitted) I had great dx results with 1/4 slopers 
on a 56 ft tower. one for 40 and one for 80 with a common coax feed grounded 
to the top of the tower. The interaction took some patience but both 
resonated at close to 1.2:1 when I finished. I didnt have enough real estate to try a 
160 qtr wave sloper though. 
3. For a 160 sloper, I would now try to fold back the extra wire towards 
the tower. 
4. I used an inverted L ( and still do) with very good success on 40 and 80, 
 but lousy on 160. ie 35 ft up and 35 ft sloping back to the rear of th e 
property. Had 18 35 ft radials on it. buried. coax feed.
