Yes, you show always turn the yagi BROADSIDE so the elements are
lengthwise into the wind.
The wind wont hurt the boom....and the elements will see less swaying
due to the fact the crosssection exposed is less.
Much like "feathering" a prop on a dead airplane piston engine....
