[Antennas] Larson Dual Band Antenna

Question for the group, I'm thinking about installing a new Larson Thru
Glass antenna (2/440) on the sun roof of my ole Monte Carlo SS (2001). I
think there is enough space on the inside of the car between fabricated
cover that slides back and forth (when the sun window is open) and the
glass pain it's self for the part that mounts inside the car.
I very seldom use the window even in Fla. and I have no passenger
concerns (YL's) as I'm single so wouldn't catch any flack there. I just
wonder if any one has tried mounting a Thru Glass Antenna in this area
before and it worked. Or if anyone had any ideas or comments on how
they thought the antenna would preform up there compared to mounting it
on the back window.
The back window has is a ON STAR antenna mounted on the left side near
the top and there is also rear window defrosting elements that run across
at the top and down to the bottom of the window. Seeing this is what has
promoted me to maybe try and mount the antenna on the Sun Window (and yes
I'll have to be careful and remember it's there)....
Any comments/idea's or suggestions would really be appreciated, 73 Mac
