Go for it ... even with the wooden pole, you'll still have metal
cables running vertically up/down the pole in man situations.
But in theory, you'll have less interaction than with say a Rohn
25G tower ... due to less metal being in the antenna support.
Don't forget to include lightning protection in your plans ... as
you will be 'floating' that antenna at 55' with ??? grounding.
