Hello Tim.

Sorry to ask but what is Gas Trimmer Line ?
I use 6 mm flagpole line (wowen nylon I think) for antenna support. I can
put quite a bit of strain on that and it handles nicely.
I attach a roller (winch ?) at a high point with flagline comming down from
it and use the line to tie the ends of my antennas to.
The other end is wound up at the ground where the line is tied to handy fix
points.
I have a multi lobe dipole strung up in my back yard this way, I can take
down the antenna in seconds and put it up again in minutes. Something I
enjoy when trying out a different type of balun, changing the bands of a
lobe or redirecting the antenna.
I dont have much room in my back yuard, aproximately 20m x 20m so my 80m
lobe is strung up as a square where the two ends of the dipole nearly meet.
The other bands are strung at odd angles to the 80m lobe and arranging them
differently changes the performance quite a bit.
Hope i havent manhandled the english language to much for you to understand
what I mean :-)
Greetings from Denmark.
