Suggest a slot antenna(see Cebics web site) First one I saw was an article
on a 10m antenna from the 30's. I first tried it on 80 almost 20 years ago
and it works great for DX. Vertically polarized (the 10m one was
horizontally polarized) doesn't require much height, 40' is plenty, for
rectangular version. This, Atlanta, in an area with poor to average
ground. If you've got really good ground, then a vertical works great. I
use on in the Pacific. -Bob ah7i
