Any OHMmeter will tell you if its DC grounded or not.....just check
between shield and center on the connector...if it shows a short,
its DC grounded.
BUT NO DC grounded antenna will totally protect you....a direct hit 
will still cause damage....best to also have inline protection (Poly-
Phaser or similar) and best of all, disconnect the coax when not in 
use :)
