I have a 185 ft wire run through and across 3 trees and have found that the
trees don't seem to have any effect on my wire. It is 25 ft higher then my
G5RV and is consistently 2 "S" units better on RX (12 db) then the G5RV on
all bands but 15 mtrs where the tuner I am using, a B & W Model VS300A won't
tune it. I put this up in hopes of being able to tune in 160 mtrs and use
PSK on that band. It works Great there and has become my favorite antenna
for 75, 40 and 30 mtrs. So to summarize it does not seem to have an effect
here but this is the only way I have had one up.
73 and Good Luck
