Another place to look .. check the feed on the driven element. It was not
noted if the antenna ever worked correctly, but if it did, and it changed, I
would pull the driven apart and see if the spiders were creating their
little condominiums in there, or like that ... or, perhaps the insulation on
the feed has deteriorated, changing the capacitance. 73, Mark
