Alan,
I currently run an 80-10m windom, about the same
height as yours, but mounted as an inverted V. Mine
runs NW to SE as yours does and I have the short leg
to the south. I am located in central CT and run 100
watts from an ICOM 746 Pro. My coverage of Europe is
quite good. I have also had good luck getting into
Africa, the Middle East, the Pacific Rim and
Australia. I have not gotten into India or Maylasia.
With the antenna oriented the way it is, I seem to get
excellent penetration into the Carribean and South and
Central America...this is where my signal seems to be
the strongest.
Hope this helps. If you have other technical
questions, go the the Radio Works website at
www.radioworks.com and ask for their input. They
usually respond quickly and are very knowledgeable
about Windom performance.
73 es hope to work you some day,
Gary
