Get a 3/16 x 2.5" eye bolt with nut and a 5/8 or 3/4 inch plastic "T"
fitting at the local hardware store. Drill 3 holes in the fitting; one
through the arms of the fitting (I am counting the through holes here as
one), drill a hole for the eye bolt across from the single leg. Mount the
eye bolt, mount antenna wire to each of the ends with the just drilled dual
holes (use both holes). Trim back coax for it to fit up though the remaining
leg and reaching out to the antenna line. Mount coax thru the "T" fitting,
feeding the center wire to one side, and the ground braid to the other,
solder both to their respective antenna wire. Mount the unit using a small
rope and a tall pole. Save the SO-259 fitting for another day.
