I have owned both Buternut HF-6V & HF-9V verticals; both excellent
antennas, but if they are mounted above ground they require radials. If
you want to keep using your TA-33, you might investigate the Butternut
HF-2V (40/80); they also have kits for 30 & 160 meters. It WILL require
radials if mounted above ground, or a very conductive grounding system if
you mount it a ground level.
