Well, those were years leading into the peak year of 1981ish
of cycle 21. During 1978 the solar flux increased from around
140 and the year's beginning to the 200 area in December.
In 1979, the 200 level was reached many times, and throughout
1980, often reached 230 to even above the 250 area.
Now, we are in the 130's and dropping into the 120's. Today,
at 119, in fact. We will be at flux values around 100 and
lower in just a few more months as the decline slope is
now steepening.
You had good years, Joe, when using your attic set up. But,
on the lower bands, especially 40 and probably 30 CW, the
next years are going to be just as good as the past years, hi.
