Ahh Not so, my antenna guru,,In my days of Moonbounce, an antenna match was very
critical on receive. Any mismatches would degrade the noise floor greatly and
you would not hear anything from the moon.
Just on HF where all the signals are huge by comparison it doesn't seem to
matter that you lost a DB or two of noise floor, when the sky noise floor is so
high anyway.
