[Antennas] B&W folded dipole

I have a BandW up about 50 ft.in an inverted vee. I have worked the =
world over, listened to shortwave broadcast, utility stations, pirates =
and checked into many a net on 75 and 40 meters. I have even made a few =
contacts on 160 with it. I love it for it's versatility. If you are the =
type that operates one band and one frequency this is probably not the =
antenna for you. How boring that would be though. By the way, just what =
the he** is a real ham. Am I not a real ham because I am an extra class =
operator with "only" 13 words per minute code or because I didn't start =
out on spark gap and my teeth don't rattle on ssb? Or maybe because I =
actually talk to people on 2 meters and try to be friendly to everyone? =
How about the fact that I don't make an ass out of myself on hf =
especially on 75 meters and 14.275 over K1MAN. Because I don't homebrew =
all my equipment does that not make me a real ham? Just what is a real =
ham? I thought it was someone licensed by the FCC that follows the rules =
and guidelines. Some people's egos need a tremendous amount of work and =
maybe they should try to feel good about themselves due to their being a =
good person and not because they got more or something different from =
someone else in a different way. Now before anyone takes offense this =
isn't aimed at anyone in particular. I am just tired of the code debate, =
the whining, the babified attitude and grown men acting like idiots even =
though they are very intelligent and have supposedly a high IQ. Off =
topic? Maybe but I stand by my statement a few months ago. If an antenna =
works for you and you enjoy it the heck with what anyone else thinks. =
