Ya know Gene.....I have been a ham probably longer than you
(given I am an original WB5 and you likely are an original
KA5)...plus I was dealing with radio before becoming a ham...
and have been a broadcast engineer as long as my amateur license
has been in effect (over 30 years as of Feb 13!)
Your attitude though needs some work itself...I suggest YOU reread
the amateur's code....and then HELP someone instead of posting
such junk on mailing lists....if he wishes to BUY an antenna, 
go for it..I do it too!! especially in my professional side...
BUT, you sir, are NOT a good example of a ham.......
If YOU wish to be, then be one....and learn how to offer 
CONSTRUCTIVE criticism......if you can..
