[Antennas] Removing the inner from coax.

What can I say. Such a terrific batch of ideas, all of which serve to
suggest that I'd be better off dreaming up another way to do this job. I
just thought the dielectric looked quite a neat approach. I might give
the battery charger idea a go, late one night, out in the workshop, when
everything else here in Bangkok just seems tame. I've got some plastic
irrigation pipe but it's quite big, 20mm, might try it and see what it
looks like. Probably got a few other odds and ends lying around that can
be used. The prospect of buying and/or selling bothers me, anything with
money involved bothers me, better to be a real radio amateur and use
what I've got or can find.
I think the bamboo will suffer when it gets wet, which it does a lot of
this time of year. Not seen any cobras in our place but we have had a
couple of very nasty luminous green snakes about 18" long in the yard.
The maid threw rocks at one and the kids nanny attacked the other with a
yard broom. I feel safe.

Hi Martin,
Better still, sit on the verandah sipping a pink gin, whilst the
bamboo-wallahs do all the cutting and trimming. This will diminish your
risk of exposure to cobras.
Cheers for now, 73,

Use some young Bamboo sections as spacers. Strong and light weight. lot
easier than stripping 213. Watch out for the Cobras while cutting the
shoots.
