I read the patent myself and it looks to me that it contradicts the basic
Hetzian antenna theorem.
Then, I asked some of my friends that are antenna designers for a well know
US corp, they could make anything out of it.

At first I took the promoter's seriously. I went back and studied
Maxwell's equations and writings to see if I had missed something! The
deeper I looked the more confusing the propaganda published by the EH
promoters seemed to be. The only thing that still puzzles me his how
those BC engineers were conned into even TRYING such an antenna. When
someone tells you that "poynting vector" fields can be achieved right at
the antenna, you know something is fishy. That's a plain geometry
problem, not electronic.
