[Antennas] BCB Loop Antennas - RFI sniffing

Hello all:
The thread on BC loops has been interesting and 
I'd like to solicit input from all on what you use 
to DF RFI racket? I've got about an S9 here on
80 and 40 of racket, so I need to do something!
So far my arsenal includes a battery-powered BC
portable, but I'd like to use some kind of a loop
(tuned or not - which is preferred?) attached to
my general coverage 0.5 - 30 MHz portable
(read = 12 VDC powered) Kenwood receiver.
Thoughts or suggestions on a loop that you might 
have used?
Thanks for the read, and any ideas or specific
experiences along these lines you'd like to share.
