Take this one step farther...Get a piece of 3 inch PVC and a 1/4 inch dowel. Use #16
wire and wind your own coil on the 3" pipe. Use the 1/4 dowel to raise each turn
for clipping. What I have done is wind a piece of nylon cord between the wire turns
to maintain spacing. Once the coil is wound and secured I remove the cord. Use clips
on the raise portion. Use 3 inch to 1 inch reducer on ends of coil form and a 1 inch
to 3/8 reducer on top of coil to take a standard 9 foot whip. Should work on 80 thru
10 meters with max coil at 80 and no coil on 10. Good luck
