Well, since I am unable to cut down any trees (XYL), I have space to put up
a dipole for 20 meters if bent in a square configuration and placed
horizontally. The question I have is if can nest dipole for 15 and 10
meters inside the square also. It will kinda be a Squalo. Also I have read
the Loop chapter on ARRL and am I to expect omnidirectional pattern? It
says a blurb about max radiation opposite feed terminals if kept as a loop,
but vice versa if loop is broken like a dipole. I will be putting this on a
push up mast. I am currently using a dipole made of electrical conduit and
cut for 10 meters and fed with 300 ohm twin lead. Will load on 15 and 10
meters. Will this square dipole be any better? Or should I leave well
enough alone. I also have a TV rotor availble for turning anything not
longer than 8 ft turn radius. All help appreciated. 73 John
