The G5RV is NOT an all band antenna. THe weakness in
the design is in the coax. Remove the coax and you
remove most of the loss. The coax loss is due to the
high SWR on bands where not resonant at the end of the
open wire line. THis SWR can be 100:1 in some cases.
If you want G5RV characteristics, use multiple lengths
of 33' of open line.
