[Antennas] Simple Dipole Question

Sounds like you have one of two problems:
1. Shorted or Open coax .. check for continuity from end to end, and
infinite resistance between the center conductor and shield.
2. BAD balun .. use an antenna analyzer to see if it has proper ratio
of input to output impedances.
