Wouldn't it be a hoot if all the reptiles, amphibians, and mamals ect. that 
have went by the wayside in the past (dinosaurs and so on)were to return in 
numbers that were "back then". These "endangered species" groups would have 
a field day with new protection. Just maybe, it is in the natural order of 
things that certain species phase out for some natural cause (even the human 
species). Personally I, here in the Missouri Ozarks, would not miss the 
alligator if it should become extinct..
There has been much taxpayers money spent on locating radar sites in order 
to accomodate these special interest groups and save the spotted owl.
