[Antennas] Pulleys

I make my own -- tediously, by saber-sawing a piece of suitable 'plastic'
into round-enough shape, then arbor-ing the work-piece in a LARGE, old
500-RPM drill and grooving it by holding it so the outside edge bears
against a properly-sized rat-tail file.
Once one gets started, innate ingenuity should suggest what to use for the
sheaves and how to make them. Hint: use a smooth center pin, or bolt with
covering on its threads if the pulley bears on it.
Talk about 'expensive'. I have man-days in my odd-looking collection of
home-brew snatch-blocks. But ... that's okay. (What else can I be
doing?!)
HTH.
