Ed and All,
I have two lazy H antennas I used one field day. One for 15 and one for
20. Made from #16 bare copper wire. Each has a 1/4 wave matching
transformer/balun made of 75 ohm coax wound on a Gaterade bottle to match
to a 50 ohm coax, and a length of 450 ohm open wire feed line from the
balun to the lower element, and 450 ohm feed line between the elements. As
is; one may even have a missing insulator for the time I couldn't find one,
but it's easily made operational. Send e-mail if you want one. Pick up
free, 10ドル to cover shipping from RI. Has to be high to work well as any
phased array. You have to get the lower element up about 1/2 wavelength
which was a problem for the 20 meter one for field day, but we got the 15
meter one up high enough and it worked well.
