John, In my town we have setbacks for zoning on residential properties of 35'
from the back of the property and 40' from the sides. Nothing can be built any
closer to the edge of the property. Even though Ham towers are legal in town,
they still have to confirm to these zonong/building codes. You may want to
check the local building codes to see if your neighbor has a legal gripe first
before you approach him or her. It's always nice to know your rights. In my
town for this reason, my beam would have to have over an 80 foot element to get
me in trouble! Jacqui
