I think we're all in agreement on the importance of having a great
relationship with your neighbor - for at least a hundred reasons other than
radio.
Something else to think about:
For RF exposure measurement purposes, the difference between 'controlled'
and 'uncontrolled' is determined in part by where the transmitting
facilities (radio, amp, tuner, transmission line/facility, and antenna) are
located. Other factors are whether the people being exposed are
family/employees (controlled) or innocent bystanders (neighbors and
passerby). By having your antenna 'on' your neighbor's property, I'm pretty
sure you have now impinged a 'controlled' environment on him and his family,
IN ADDITION to the more stringent 'uncontrolled' status.
Like I said, something else to think about.
