My vote goes to the Yaesu FT-900CAT. I have had one for several years, used
it mobile, portable, field day, base station both in the house and out in
the back yard. Best performance was from Dayton, OH, area, two times, one in
a contest, radio in back of van and dipoles at about 20 feet at edge of a
cemetery, Europe and Far East. Another time same area, second story house in
Dayton, QRP 5 watts, antenna 15 meter dipole in L shape in one small room,
again into Europe and Far East. All the radio needs is power, antenna, key
or mike, and preferably headphones, built-in speaker works but is poor. One
of the things I like about the radio is its metering, can show signal
strength on receive, and power out and SWR on transmit with no switching.
Meets all your requirements expect for low power, which is about 2 watts
normally. It has a detachable front panel if needed. Hope this is of
interest.

Darryl, KK5IB
