Subject: [Antennas] 2 meter stacking question
I am planning on stacking a pair of 13B2 antennas side
by side. Will be using a non-metallic stacking boom
to lessen interaction between each yagi and the boom.
Here is my questions:
The stacking distance in the manual is 9 1/2 feet. I
can get a phasing harness and power divider used for
stacking 2 3219 antennas. I used to have a pair and
seem to remember that the stacking distance was around
12 feet or so. Will this phasing harness work for
stacking the 13B2? I am not sure if the length of the
matching section of coax will change with the decrease
in stacking distance or not.
Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?
I have looked at a few websites, but could find no
conclusive evidence about this.
