This is a follow-up to a recent posting about Cushcraft and their
lack of customer support.
Attached is my letter to and reply from Cushcraft regarding their two
element 40 meter beam. Please understand that the D40 rotatable dipole
that I purchased is the driven element in their two element array.
These are the same people who told a friend (WA9FHS) who owned a R-7
vertical that as a ham he didn't have the ability to change out a burnt
out RF choke, so he should buy a completely new assembly.

Question: Hi:
I purchased a D40 rotatable dipole from Cushcraft and have been very
pleased with its performance. I would like to up grade to a XM240 Big
Thunder Monobander. Do you offer an up grade kit to make this change
and if
so, how much does it cost? Thank you. Ron W7MRR
