There are other tech reasons, such as when the alias or
email address (after initial enrollment) is changed, e.g.
by the ISP....for service reasons. I've seen this happen
numerous times in my role with IT support working for
City of Seattle. Also, the unsub tip to the List, at large,
serves as an easy, periodic aid for those whose PC may
have crashed, un/sub instructions accidentally erased,
etc. All these technical issues notwithstanding, if our
common response to someone looking for help is to be
holier than thou, there is a human element which is
diminished in the process.....and one which has been a
big component of the ham radio hobby for decades:
helping and communication with each other.
