Yes, you are right, I've designed my system for ultra
low loss so maybe it isn't the norm.. but it CAN be
done I guess is what I'm saying.
I use balanced line because it's lightweight and low
loss, most of my antennas could be fed w/ coax but
they are strung up in trees not on a tower and the
extra weight really matters in my installs - think
'droopage'. Even on the antennas that can't be fed w/
coax (475' off center fed zepp as an example) I don't
have any trouble.
Go to the palstar website (www.palstar.com) and look
at their roller inductors. This is the key to all
happiness! I use their biggest one, it's hardly more
money than the lower power one.

Yeah, that was my signal I wasn't really ranting just
in case I sounded like I was ranting. I was actually
