I need some good practical info on the installation of several antennas
on my towers.
Tower #1 is LM470 and at the front of the house, currently has a KT-36XA
and a KLM-rotatable dipole with 25 feet of exposed 2"x3/8 WT chromolly
mast with prop pitch rotator.
#2 is a R-7000 Vertical 30 feet West of #1
#3 is 12 foot roof tower located 35 feet to No. of #2 on roof peak
correctly installed on roof with 20 feet of 2" x 1/4 WT chromolly mast
with Yaesu 2800 DX rotator with KT-34XA, 4 ele 6M Raibeam, 2 Ele 17M
Raibeam and a Diamond 2m/440M vertical.
#4 is a 70 foot Skyneedle 20 feet No. of #3 with exposed 25 feet of 2" x
1/2 WT 176,000 PSI chromolly mast with prop pitch. I have a Dave Padrick
designed 2 ele 75M on 32' boom with 64' ele to go on top at 94 feet.
I have the following beams to add to or change with any of the 3 towers,
and would like valid suggestions as to placement to get best overall
results. 4 ele 20 M Raibeam on 42' boom, KLM-40M2 on 32' boom, 4 ele. 10
M Raibeam on 20'? boom, 3 Ele 15 M Raibeam on 18'? boom, Cubex 2M 7 ele
Yellowjacket Quad. I also want to put up a sloper or inverted V for
160/75m on the Skyneedle using a swivel ring at 75' on the mast.
Layout and stacking information minus a lot of formulas and theory. For
sure I do not need to be told they will not work as all of the antennas
have been up and working before. I want to do all of this just one time.
All of the erection and in the air tuning will be done using a 30 ton
crane with a 130' stick with man basket and full body harness.
Thanks,
Hank
