Hmmm.. not start a debate? how silly...
Every connector inserts some loss into the transmission line. You already
have:
 Transceiver 1
 SWR meter 2
 Tuner 2
 Antenna switch(?) 2
 Antenna 1
 ----
 8
Just how many more do you want to add? A barrel is two (2) more! Will the
barrel be outside or in? I'd vote for inside, even it means shortening the
existing line somewhat.
The other potential problem is ending up with two SLIGHTLY different lines -
unless you buy EXACTLY what you already have - same manufacturer and same
model# line.
As connector do add some loss, are you DXing a lot of weak signals or able
to do fine now? The higher tower and better ground plane (and change in
impedance and SWR from being farther from earth will probably more than
offset 2 more connectors.
