Hi Paul,
Can you tell me if you saw any of my post to the antenna list yesterday or
today?
I'm not getting bounces but I had to subscribe.
I made a post after that and I still don't see it.
Can you post this for me?
And ask the readers to respond direct as AOL is letting appx 1/4 of the mail
go through.
I'll be off AOL at the end of the month.
It's the pits.
Thanks
Bob

Heres my message
Question.
Can someone explain to me why B&W tells you not to ground the window
antenna?
The rig is grounded and the coax goes to the antenna so am I supposed to run
the station above ground?
Also B&W says to make taps close to where the coil wire is supported to
obtain better performance.
If PVC affectes the antenna that much why not use wood?
The B&W I got from a local ham and It's out for some light duty machine work
to make it work better (get the SWR down and not need a tuner)(longer rod
between whip and coil and a longer rod from bottom of coil to the mount)
I'll upload PICS when I get it next week.
Bob
