why so many emacs version packages?
Hi!
I'm wondering what the point of all the emacs versions is that we have
in pkgsrc.
We have:
emacs20
emacs21
emacs26
emacs27
emacs28
emacs29
emacs-snapshot (which is currently older than emacs29)
and two xemacs versions:
xemacs
xemacs-current
In the time I've been using, I was always happy with the latest
version of emacs. Can someone please explain what the advantages of
the older versions are?
