lang/python26 fails to build on OpenIndiana (and probably all of SunOS flavors)

from my last bulk build on OpenIndiana i get the following failure on
lang/python26

Seems related to http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/python/bugs/871799
and
http://www.lotuseyes.de/blog/error-installing-plone-on-opensolaris-using-the-unified-installer
lang/python26 from 2 weeks ago (just before 2011Q1) did build on this
platform. I can't see any of our patches dealing with it, is upstream guilty ?
This breakage brings more than 3300 failures with it, so it's pretty
severe.
