pkg_rr reports:

RR> Tsorting dependency graph
tsort: cycle in data
tsort: checkperms
tsort: ccache
Perhaps checkperms needs to be told not to use ccache.
in mk.conf:
PKGSRC_COMPILER= ccache gcc
CCACHE_DIR= /home/gdt/.ccache
