I don't insist on using pkg_summary-utils.
Just another example based on using a list of binary packages.
# update pkg_summary(5) for binary packages stored locally
pkg_update_summary -r /usr/pkgsrc/packages/All/pkg_summary.txt \
/usr/pkgsrc/packages/All
# source summary
pkg_src_summary > /usr/pkgsrc/pkg_src_summary.txt
# list the packages to be rebuilt
pkg_cmp_summary -p /usr/pkgsrc/packages/All/pkg_summary.txt \
/usr/pkgsrc/pkg_src_summary.txt |
awk '1ドル == "+" || 1ドル == "<" {print 2ドル}' \
> /path/to/packages_to_be_rebuilt.txt
