Following strategies may help you.
Ex.1: Split to some packages
base Toolkit and optional bundles?
Ex.2: Install temporary and real install later
in build phase, PREFIX=${BUILDLINK_DIR} then...

For example, ${PERL} point to real perl command.
You can pass it to configure script, or replace with it later.
