| hmm, I've been meaning to check if RTLD_DEFAULT does the right thing. Its | doesn't actually sue the default symbol search rules... I've absolutely no idea whether the semantics are right, it just solves (or works around) the "gnucash doesn't find its symbols" problem. mjl
